devoured me alive.
I lay entangled in deceits
in petty lies,
and little fibs
and as I tried
to cast them off
like they were
made of silk,
their million
microscopic hooks
tightened in my skin,
and there I lay
sprawled out
and trapped,
and when you looked me in my eyes,
I felt your claws grip my lies
and tear them from my lips.
