to that distant shore
where the sun sets warm
in the west
and see the mermaids
dance in the waves
and hear the Kraken's roar.
Hold the wheel
when the waves rise tall
and the pregnant sail
swells vast and round
carrying Boreal's child.
Stay true to your course,
stay true to yourself,
and though you pass
through desperate straits,
and close to pirate coasts;
though wrecking reefs
leer up through the surf,
you will sail on,
I believe.
And sailing on,
staying true to your course,
one day you'll reach
those shores of which
you dream.
